Chris Janson Added to List of Walcott Truckers Jamboree Concerts
Iowa 80 Truckstop is pleased to announce Nashville recording artist and rising star Chris Janson will perform at the 35th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree on Thursday, July 10th at 7 p.m. The concert is being sponsored by CAT Scale™.
“Chris Janson is a singer/songwriter who can play multiple instruments and has great vocals. He has toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr., and has shared the stage with Merle Haggard as well as Florida Georgia Line. This year also marks Iowa 80 Truckstop’s 50thAnniversary. “It’s a dual celebration this year,” says Delia Moon Meier. “We are celebrating America’s truckers and celebrating Iowa 80 Truckstop’s 50th Anniversary. We are honored to have been able to serve professional drivers for the past 50 years and are looking forward to another 50 and beyond,” says Meier.
The 2014 Walcott Truckers Jamboree will feature a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display; Iowa pork chop cookout; over 175 exhibits, Trucker Olympics; carnival games; plenty of live music; two fireworks display, a birthday party for Iowa 80 and loads of fun for the whole family! Admission and parking are FREE! Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.
The 35th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, will be held July 10-12, 2014 at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa.
