One Big Trucker Party! The Walcott Truckers Jamboree Celebrates America’s Truckers WALCOTT, IOWA — The World’s Largest Truckstop has once again hosted the biggest trucking party of its kind to honor America’s truck drivers. The 29th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree, held July 10-11 hosted tens of thousands of drivers and their families. During the two days, guests enjoyed over 175 exhibits; a Super Truck Beauty Contest with many contestants who were new to the competition; a fantastic antique truck display with over 200 vehicles; delicious Iowa pork chop cookout; Trucker’s Best Friend Pet Contest; Trucker Olympics; Carnival Games; two live bands, a fantastic fireworks display and loads of fun! This year’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree also included a ribbon cutting to open the new Iowa 80 Trucking Museum Visitor’s Center adjacent to the Iowa 80 Truckstop.

WALCOTT, IOWA — The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum has officially opened its new Museum Visitors Center with a ribbon cutting that took place on Thursday, July 10th at 2:00 pm during the Walcott Truckers Jamboree. The Museum Visitors Center adds 5,000 square feet to the existing structure bringing the total to approximately 20,000 square feet. The addition includes a movie theater, more truck display space, restrooms and a gift store
