The race is a cross-country event that lasts one week and covers thousands of miles.  This year racers are making their way across the country from their starting point in San Antonio, Texas on June 19th and ending nine days later in Greenville, South Carolina.  All racers are competing for a total purse of $158,750 in prize money.

The race is free to spectators of all ages, who are encouraged to come out and view these magnificent machines, at Joplin 44 Petro, I-44 & Hwy 43, Exit 4, Joplin, Missouri.  Racers will be fueling from approximately 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm on June 21st before they head downtown Joplin for the evening.
